Steve Taylor is an communications professional with 30-years experience in journalism, PR and corporate communications.

With a rich background in regional/national journalism and PR, Steve has worked for the past 20 years in the public sector, corporate sector and voluntary sector, supporting businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations in-house and on consultancy projects.

Apart from developing creative communications strategies for business in many sectors, Steve delivers high-quality training and development programmes for corporate clients and Third Sector agencies, covering media relations, (writing and broadcast skills), podcast production, brand development, copywriting, presentation skills and event management.

He works on event as a freelance broadcaster providing audio for regional radio and websites/podcasts, covering events including BBC Good Food Show, Crufts, Discover Dogs, Ideal Home Show, BTCC motor racing, Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood Festival, BBC Gardeners World, Chateau Impney Hillclimb. He also compiles show previews, case studies and campaign story-telling audio for a number of organisations.

His sector experience includes automotive, motor racing, health and social care, youth organisations/youth development, education, hospitality and hotels, food and drink, animal welfare, MOD, voluntary sector/charities.

With a recent relocation to the South West, Steve is now offering  a wide-range of creative communications, media and PR services through Green Hat. He is also actively supporting smaller charities and NFP bodies who struggle with small budgets but big problems, to help them achieve their goals.
